As always, I get too many questions every day to promise an answer to everyone, but if I can, I do try to pay a little extra attention to those of you who've taken the time to subscribe to my Ask Leo! newsletter. Use this form - mentioned only in the newsletter - and I'll know that's you.

Type Your Question Here:

Note: If you're having a problem with your computer or software be sure to include detailed steps to reproduce your problem and include the specific text of any error messages that result. Without this information I cannot help you.

Email Address:
(A valid email address is required. I do not spam. Check out my privacy policy.)
I have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions

Before you ask... Please know that I cannot answer every question. I get too many every day to be able to answer them all. I read every question and I try to answer the most frequent, the most interesting and those questions that I think will help the most people.

Use Search... First Well over half of the questions I get are already answered on the site. Don't wait for me, use the Google Search function at the top of the page.

And for the record:

  • I cannot recover lost passwords or lost or hacked accounts. Don't ask. Requests to do so will be ignored. Sorry. Read this article instead.

  • I cannot get you an activation code or CD key: that would be illegal. Requests to do so will be ignored.

Sorry to be so blunt, but people keep asking and asking and asking.

I require a valid email address so that I can get more information from you if I need it, or to notify you if I answer your question. (Note: I can not respond to challenge/response spam filters. Please whitelist leo<at>pugetsoundsoftware.com in order to receive any email I might attempt to send.)

There are more tips on getting your question answered in: Why didn't you answer my question?.

So after you've read and understood all that, press the "Ask Leo!" button below and your question will be placed in my queue. If I answer it, you'll hear from me in email.
