any comments on mcafee programs bringing down performance? i just installed internet security suite, and my computer keeps stalling. my system monitor shows 100% usage of the processor when nothing else is running. i suspected virus, but i've run a scan and didn't come up with anything. i'm suspecting the software tying up all my system resources.
i have pIII with only 128m ram.. maybe my system is too weak? manual for program shows that this system will support.. any thoughts?

What OS are you running?

Hi Leo,
I downloaded a file (movie) but once i opened it, my computer recources kept stalled. I can't remove that file because it says it's currently been used by a player (no program's opened). However, once i reboot, it doesn't happen any more. How can I remove the file and the virus
thanks

If deleting the file immediately after rebooting doesn't work, reboot in safe mode and delete it there. You mention virus but I must be missunderstanding the scenario - where's the virus?
