why does the screen resolution change to a larger size each time I sign on to AOL I have to open control panel and re-set them.

Hi, about the Screen resolution topic..
on my computer, after i had to reboot it, the screen wouldn't adjust away from 800x600... i've been told i need to download the correct driver.. but i just can't figure out how.. i've been trying very hard to find the right one.. please help

i have a...
dell dimension 4500S desktop
and a MAG INNOVISION LT464s monitor.

my own XP screen resolution changes to 1024 x 768 from 800 x 600 after screen saver... is that the video card as well?

hi! i have the same problem w/AOL causing the computer to switch to a lower resolution everytime i open it up. do you now if there is any updates or patches that i may need to install. do i need to reinstall aol?

Hi,
I can not increase my computers resolution. I cant drag the icon across to a higher setting. Also i can not print of the internet or get onto certain weblinks. I am unable to down load updates for my computer. Please help

I am unable to drag my slider away from 640*480. My computer got the trojan horse virus so I had to delete everything off of it. Before this happended I could change it. Why can't I now and is their a certain disc I might have that will have this information on it.

The video driver controls what the supported screen resolutions are. Not sure what you did when you say you "delete everything off of it", but bottom line is that you need to install or upgrade your video driver to the one that matches your video hardware.

same here...I reformatted my dell pc and now i cant go higher than 640X480.My dell resource cd wont update the video card and i cant find a driver on the net.I cant play dvd's either.And dont know how to fix that either

hi i got the same problem to chnage the resoluton. i got a new dell PC with 19 inches screen. i cannot change the resolution more than 640 times something. wat can i do to chnage it? when i clcik on start the menu itself goes upto the top of the screen. its so big. it doens't look good. how can i chnage it? someone pls help me ASAP. send ur comments to mervyng2@aol.com
