CommentsAll Comments on: How do I get outgoing mail to display "Undisclosed-Recipients:;" in the TO field?
Read the article that everyone's commenting on. Thanks for the reply. One thing I noticed is that the email program I am using is actually Outlook 2000 (even the icon is Outlook icon), the title of the program is Outlook but the menu and functions belong to those in Outlook Express! Is that possible? It seems that the 2 programs integrated with each other... Posted by: GC at May 30, 2004 5:33 PMNo, the two didn't integrate. They're quite different :-). But if you are in fact using Outlook 2000, then that does explain that we're seeing the same thing. Posted by: Leo at May 30, 2004 5:57 PMWhat I usually do is create a group and drop your email address in there. call that group undisclosed recipients: create another group with names and send email, undisclos* in To field and the other name in bcc, or the list of names in bcc field.. everyone just sees undisclosed-recipients. Posted by: Frederica at September 14, 2004 11:15 AMSirs: how do we disclose the addresses which are there in Bcc?? can anybody help me on this Posted by: John at October 28, 2004 2:01 AMIf you mean you want to see the BCC line on a message you've *received*, you cannot. That's the whole point of BCC. Posted by: Leo at October 28, 2004 7:25 AMSir, Please can u tell me how to configure undisclosed receipients in TO ,Bcc and Cc bar of my INTERNET ACCOUNT such as yahoo and rediff. i am not getting the right way to configure this. Thanks, I don't think Yahoo supports BCC, and I'm not familiar with rediff at all. In general web-based mail services often don't support BCC. Posted by: Leo at November 22, 2004 10:23 PMDear Leo, Regards, That depends on your email client, but in general there's often no way to remove To: and Cc: fields.
