Read the article that everyone's commenting on. I am trying to find out how to forward the email still being sent to an address I have had for years with netscape to my current address...can anyone help me? I paid netscape for help and they cannnot stop the mail from being bounced back and I cannot get any into the address any more (17 May 04) last new mail I was accessing my mail at that time in the UK (London). Thanks Posted by: Drex Hansen at June 19, 2004 02:19 PMWhere is this article located? Be sure to read the full article: "Is there an email forwarding service for MSN/Hotmail?" Thanks Posted by: Anonymous at June 19, 2004 02:39 PMClick on that link and it will take you to it. In this case the "full article" is very short: "Not that I'm aware of.". Posted by: Leo at June 19, 2004 03:03 PMDrex: Forwarded services are totally up to the email provider to actually provide. In the case of your netscape email address, either netscape needs to provide the functionality to forward, or it can't be done. Sorry. Posted by: Leo at June 19, 2004 03:05 PMhttp://www.email-forwarding.biz picks up and forwards email from MSN, Hotmail, AOL and POP3 accounts for a fee. Posted by: Don Bell at July 21, 2004 05:43 AMwww.ReturnPath.com also offers this service. It's designed for a moved address more than for regular forwarding, and it will even give you the option of notifying senders individually, en mass, or not at all, of the correct/new address. Posted by: Leo at May 8, 2005 03:52 PMI came across the post regarding moving mail from hotmail to hotmail, oddly enough, while I was researching what seems to be a solution for you. I don’t know how savvy you are but if you go to this site: http://www.fastmail.fm/mail/?STKI=71258, and sign up for their free service it will give you an email account that can be accessed from Outlook or Outlook Express using the IMAP protocol. What you can then do is add an account for the old hotmail, new hotmail and the new fastmail account in your email program (e.g. Outlook and the like). Then all you have to do is open your email program and copy all of your messages from your old hotmail into the new fastmail IMAP account and then from there copy them into the new hotmail account. If you need help these pages provide info on setting up an email client to use IMAP and Hotmail:
Start Here (if this doesn’t do it, which it should, try the links below) http://www.fastmail.fm/docs/faqparts/ExternalMail.htm#ExternalAccess

http://oit.nd.edu/email/outlookxp-2003-imap.shtml P.S. - now that i think about it you amy just be able to add both hotmail accounts in outlook and just copy from old inbox to new. just a thought! Posted by: Dominic at May 12, 2005 09:52 PM
