You cannot change a hotmail address... you can only create a new account with a new name and start using that.

If you have a messenger address with your old isp and you'd like to change that you can do that on the Microsoft Passport website:

I recently got a new hard drive and another memory card installed. I no longer have a dial-up service. I now have Roadrunner high speed. I have the same address as before through aol.(evjogr@aol.com) but I cannot get on the MSN Instant Messanger anymore. When I tried to re-install it, they wanted me to update to 7.0. Then the message comes up, your computer will not support it. What should I do to get back on my MSN Instant Messenger?
