There is also another way to login as administrator from the welcome screen in XP (assuming that you don't auto-login). Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE twice in succession from the welcome screen, and you'll get a login box for username and password. This will save you from having to boot into safe mode.

im in college and i do my math homework online. i tried to get the "plugins" (as they call them) and they said i do not have administatior rights and to contact the owner of the comp and i am the owner. i cant figure it out please help. the website for the math is coursecompass.com i need these please i wanna do my homework at home not at school.!! thank you

I have recently lost Administrator privledge.
Bought the computer new, never established a "password" and never had administrator trouble
for 2 years until last month!

I forgot the password to the admin account! All i got now is a power user account! I need help fast, I got a big company thing to do!

well i tried ding th administardor thing but when i trie it all i got was for the options was os something reboot acount and start window normally now i cant get on the account to become administartor can u tell me what do do?.
