I see the same error message about once a month. My POP servers are correct and I just reboot to fix this problem. I've always wondered why I have to resort to this procedure but it works.

I was getting this error almost daily and tech after tech at my ISP couldn't figure out why. A few of their suggestions would have been hilarious if I wasn't paying for a supposedly good service. Eventually, a supervisor figured out that as an anti-spammer measure, they count total numbers of recipients for the e-mails I send per day. Because I am in a private e-mail discussion group of 17 people and some days we post a lot back and forth, I was exceeding the limit and they were automatically suspending my sending of e-mails for a while. They agreed I'm not a spammer and raised my limit and the problem hasn't happened since. Their default limit was 250 recipients per day, but now I'm allowed 5000, which I'll never come close to. ZoneAlarm makes sure my system won't send messages to more than 30 people at a time, so even if my computer were infected (despite my firewall, AV programme, etc), the new limit won't be taken advantage of for spam. I don't know how many ISPs have that kind of daily limit, but no doubt some do. If others keep getting that error, it's something to ask tech support about, although if they're like my ISP, you may need to deal with a higher level tech or supervisor.

I keep getting this error msg when attempting to send email:
Microsoft Outlook could not access the specified folder location. An error occurred that prevented the file C:\Documents and Settings\Gwen Dolmar\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst from being saved. Close and then restart all mail-enabled applications.

Any suggestions on fixing this annoyance would be greatly appreciated.

I have spoken to my provider and they put me back to there web site went through a couple of steps after checking my settings. I told them that I was running MAILWASHER and after We tried a couple of of other options I Un-Installed that particular program I was hopping the problem would be fixed. I sent my self a test message and it stil hasn't come through as I'm still waiting on others to come through, wich tells me that nothing has changed. Would anyone have any idea how I can fix this particular problem?

During the last month i went to India, i couldn't use my Outlook Express in the factory i stayed because it was an encrypted server. I have now returned to my home and i have 96 emails waiting to be downloaded to my inbox but it keeps reaching 22/96 and fails with the following error message:
your pop server has not responded in 60 seconds, would you like to wait another 60 seconds for the server to respond?
Account: mail.**********.com
Server: mail.**********.com

If i click "wait" then this message will keep re-appearing after every minute with no progress. If i then press cancel then my Outlook Express will return to searching for mails and find another 96 emails. When i start downloading them to my inbox they are the same emails i have just received. Then once i reack 22/96 the same problem as explained above happens. What can i do? Does anyone please have any advice for me?

Thank you

Danny
