Summary: Unless you have two computers running simultaneously you cannot run two different versions of MSN Messenger at the same time.
Can I run two versions of MSN messenger at the same time?
In a nutshell: no.
MSN Messenger is designed to replace it's previous version when installed. The only real solution I'm aware of if you absolutely require it would be to have two computers, each with a different version.

With that installed go into it's preferences and select "Polygamy".
Account Polygamy
Just check a box in the preferences of Messenger Plus! Live and you'll be up and ready for signing-ing into more than one Messenger account at the same time. No need to patch any file or use other Messenger clients anymore!

But you can run the OLD windows messenger at the same time as msn if you have an older PC

Posted by: Aka Baka Chaka at January 9, 2009 5:46 PMits not called pologamy go to msn plus prefences and options, go to customize and then select the multiple accounts box and go to windows live messenger and start it again and it will show up another log in prompt, then you sign on to your other account!
