You can install trillian in place of MSN MEssegner, AIM or whatever other service. You'll need to uninstall or turn off the other services. It does look different, but the people you are chatting with will not know, or care, that you're using trillian.

I use it myself.

Hey dont know if this can help all of you people out there, but i just found out that on the new live messenger if you want to save all of your conversations, click tools then options, then on the side click messages, at the bottom it should say message history, you can click an save all of ur message history so u can look at what conversations have n=been going on xx

Hi, i'm looking for a conversation i had few days ago on MSN. i havnt got the message history option switched on, so it wasn't automatically saved in WebLogs. The person i was conversing with had no archive of this onversation.
Is there any was of retrieving the conversation? is it saved somewhere on the server? thank you

Dear Leo, Is there any other way you can record(save) msn conversations, in order to monitor your kids, what they are doing? Kids are smart, they know how to turn off history option. I am looking for something out side the msn settings, so they can't disable it. Does any one know any third party software to monitor massenger?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

You would need to install some kind of parental monitoring software.
This article touches on that:

Realize, though, that savvy kids can often detect, disable or work
around just about anything.

I heard a rumor that MSN actually archives MSN IM traffic, for what reason I don't know. Can anyone confirm or dispel this myth?
