Posted by: Erick at August 16, 2005 2:19 PMPeople say that cidaemon.exe is the indexing service but how can that be? isn't cisvc.exe the file that does the indexing? (I checked the services thing to see if Cidaemon.exe is the indexing service, but i saw the other file instead)
Posted by: Tea at June 12, 2007 7:19 PMIt takes a while for my computer to come on. A lot of time goes to opening up unecessary stuff like yahoo messenger. How do I change what comes on at the startup of my computer.
Posted by: NaToya at July 17, 2007 5:33 AMI keep kepping pop-ups from cidaemon. I have it disabled, an have my pop up blocker on, but they still keep coming up.
Posted by: Fred at August 4, 2007 5:13 AMI had probelems with Cidaemon. All the so-called solutions with turning of indexing didn't work. I have removed google Desktop and it seems so far to have been successful.
