You right click somewhere near where the menu toolbar should be, then click menu bar. This will bring back FILE, EDIT, VIEW, FAVOURTIES, etc.

if you right click near the adress bar when it appears click on customise command bar and go down the list till it says full screen and add it to the list.that should work.

My address bar diappeared how do I get it back ?
I read the articles and they did help me get my
Address bar back up thanks !
I r-clicked on the flag (uper right corner") then
took of the "lock toolbars check" Then L-click on the address area and draged it to the leftside,
then went back and put the check back on the check the "Lock tool bars" thats it !
Now I got it back !

I read all your comments about how to get the internet exployer address bar back, but they did not help me because when I click on VIEW there is no "Address Bar" listed ! So what do I do now?

I also do not have an address bar and do not have an option to click it in toolbar. I downloaded IE 8 when this problem occurred. Now trying to get rid of IE 8 and go back to 6.

Thanks for the tips. It turns out my address bar was just hiding. By right clicking and sliding to the left it reappeared. I was able to drag it to its original place. If there are alot of buttons they tend to overlap each other. When you see the horizontal arrow you can slide them to hide or show them. Thanks everyone.
