I'm not sure what "that security thing" is that you're refering to.
Posted by: Leo at April 17, 2005 9:10 AMI also had AOL and could view all sent mail. These comments are great, but I still don't know how to retrieve sent mail???
Posted by: Rita at August 6, 2005 8:40 AMI sent an email. I did not have the "save to sent mail folder," or the "send copy" checked. It is gone, not in the save mail and not in the inbox.
I don't want to stop it from going to the addressee, I just want to get a copy so I can save it.
Possible?
Only by asking the recipient to forward it back to you.
Posted by: Leo at August 24, 2005 5:53 PMWhere is the setting in hotmail to have every email copy i send out copied to my sent messages folder? i would like to set it as the default setting. i don't remember to check the copy to sent messages folder everytime. thanks, kailers
Posted by: kailers at October 17, 2005 10:41 AMAs it turns out there doesn't seem to be a default setting. You have to remember to do it each time.
Posted by: Leo at October 17, 2005 5:07 PMI don't see where I can make sure I have my sent messages go into the folder of sent messages. There is never anything in there/
Posted by: Debbie Segreti at November 15, 2005 5:15 PMThere's a checkbox below the message when you compose it that you apparently have to check each time.
Posted by: Leo at November 15, 2005 8:46 PMThe sent mail save option should be a no brainer. Why can't I have a default to save messages as Microsoft Outlook does? I feel it very important to know what I e-mail to someone else. Please tell me how to choose this option.
Thanks.
Posted by: Karma Zoss at January 9, 2006 3:18 PMI agree that there should be a default, but as Iv'e said before, it turns out there doesn't seem to be a default setting. You have to remember to do it each time.
