My MSN sent mail isn't showing up in the sent mail folder. Is it somewhere else?

One sent message shows on my 'sent mail' but no others, so it seems that it's not turned off but I don't know why the later sent message don't show up there?

my messages that I am sending in hotmail are not showing up in the sent file. I did not see any type of option to turn this feature on or off?

can't find where my sent mail is also, when I get mail on line I can't get it I have to log off then get back on again

Where is the option to save sent messages. I can't find it!

Hotmail is not like Gmail, whereas Gmail will help you record your sent messages, leaving you the benefit of checking what you have sent.

clicked "send" and I also sent a copy to myself
I did not receive it. Why?

I recently created a new email address to use on windows live messenger.

However when I sign in with my new account it does not alert me to new emails but it does show them in the windows live today box.

Its quite annoying as I have to keep checking the live today box to see if I have new mail as it does not even display how many new emails I have on the mail icon under my name.

Any help as to how to fix this would be appreciated.
