here is a tip for using windows even when activation timeis up activation settings nobody i have seen has done it
here is how
1. it is really simple and doesn't require much effort
2. after 30 days you cannot get into your computer wihtout activating it here is how
3. logon as normal and a prompt saying you copy of windows must be activated just mimimize it.
4. hold the windows key and press u
5. the narrator for disabled people will come up
6. click on the microsoft website and then you can get into your computer but wait thats not good enough you need your start menu and all.
7. type in control panel.
8. go to internet options and click on the settings by delete cookies, click view files and a error will come up click ok then when you do that your start menu will come up allowing you to run your programs run normally just don't close out internet options or the start menu will hide itself you can use it for about 5 min i am still working on making it stay for permant use.

In case you didn't know, Windows XP pro REQUIRES that administrator account have a password.
It is a box during install.

ALSO, people with home edition can also set a pass for administrator, albeit it is harder.

Hello, I was trying to log on with my usaul pass and it wont let me? How do I recover it w/o resting it?

I was donated a compacq presario 2200. I cant log on to the internet. It is asking for an Administrater password...Help. The computer is using Windows 98..

Hacking Windows XP Login Password

Hack Admin Password from user mode.

i personely do not recommend this, becuase if you will change admin password when he will come to know he can create problems for you or else he will format and reinstall...but if you want you can

follow these steps:

1. Open command prompt, type Start -> Run -> cmd and press enter
2. now type compmgmt.msc and press enter
this should open the computer management console.
3. Go to local users and groups -> users. right click on any user and select "set password".
if you get a "access denied" do the following.

Start -> run --> cmd

then use following commands.

1. net user test * /add (This will make a user have name "test"). note by typing * you will require to enter password.
2. now type
net localgroup administrators test /add (This command will make test user as administrators rights).

or if you already have an account but you want to give admin rights then only try second option.

and use net user command to reset you admin password if required.

if you do not know admin password but want to change or hack then do the below

1. Start --> Run --> cmd (This will open your command prompt).
2. type
net user (press enter)
3. type
net user windowsloginid * (Press enter)

now it will ask you for new password just enter new password and confirm, note the cursor will not move but blink, it will work and change the password..

if it works please do not forget to reply...

how can I access my email if it keeps rejecting my secret question and password. they send a password to your email and you can't get into it. How stupid is that?
