how to uninstall DirectX
Posted by: Bijen Pandit at February 15, 2006 8:35 AMalright, this is a recurring problem. I think the guy that first answered this question is right because that same thing happenned to me. And I want to kill microsoft for it
they have made my life hell. Hard to believe I actually stuck with windows... but I can only play my games on pc so ...
Anyways, this DX 9.0c is the problem I think the installation in and of itself is the problem. whoever uses directx should definetely avoid two things. 1. auto updates. and 2. Updating directx pas version 8.1 al the 9s suck ass and are not worth updating to.
I have agree with the last guy that said D9's suck ass! We were given an AMD ahthalon 850 pcu w/ME.We downloaded a shrek game, from wal-mart, for my son. After installing the D9 that came with the game,my screen turned total blue! Tried several fixes, none have worked! Have tried to start in safe mode, just get grey screen with the words safe mode in all four corners of screen! The only thing I can do is hit ctrl/alt/del. the computer restarts goes through scan disk, then screen turns totally blue, with no error messages. Go figure?

Please enable Direct3D acceleration. You can do this by starting dxdiag and enabling Direct3D Acceleration in the Display1/2 tab after installing DirectX 8.1b (or later) and the latest drivers for your graphics card.
Posted by: Robert at March 1, 2006 7:53 PMi have solved the problem!!!!
Actually, it is very very easy. All you have to do is follow these steps(I got this from EA technical Support)
1. Forget about it.
2. Find a new hobby.
3. Microsoft sucks so dont try to fix their stuff.
4. The only problem is your brain, if you try to forget about it and find a new interest in life that does not involve this stupid DirectX, you will be OK.....
ummm.. yeah.. guy... but you haven't tell me how to uninstall the direct X yet.
