How can I uninstall Directx 9?

After i install directx 9.0c.The dialog says setup is completed balthough directx is not installed. Anybody if helped will be appreciated.

I cannot play Need for Speed Carbon and the problem caused by not meeting the system requirement of the game. I already checked other system requirements and i noticed that my directX version is not updated (My current directx ver. is 9.0b) However, i tried to install/update to directx 9.0c but after installing and I'd checked dxdiag still the same version found. I'v already search for any possible solutions to solve this problem and it drives me crazy (hehe..) anywy, if there's any possible solution.. I really need your help (indeed) and to all NFS gamers out there! Let's solve this ONE! thanks^^

for the need for speed carbon thing,"directx 0", a friend just told me to change the compatibility mode from the setup.exe to windows 2000, know i'm installing the game, good luck with that.

hi.. i have just bought the games.. TORRENTE3 THE PROTECTOR and pirates of the caribbean.. i installed the TORRENTE game first then i played it for little time then i insatalled other game... when switching back to Torrente3 game back, it gives some kinda direct x 8.1 error written in spanish but i can only read the error of direct x8.1... though i have installed directx 9.0c..
any reason for this problem, thought game is also released in 2007????

What I open a game to me chuch a board ` please enable Direct3D acceleration . You can do this by starting dxdiag and enabling Direct3D acceleration in the display 1/2 tab after installing DirectX 8.1b (or later) and the latest drivers for your graphics card ` I go to star-run-dxdiag-display but to me can`t enable acceleration . Please help my!!! Write to me please!!!

I also have the same problem of not being able to install directx 9c,dx diag shows directx 9b even after running 9c installer.Please help me.

Hi I have preoblem with DirectX 9.0c latest 2007 edition butthe thing is when I want to install it it actually install but don't install. Confusing?
