How can I uninstall Directx 9?

leo....i dont really understand all of the terminologies and how they work but i have a matrox millenium g200 and i need the driver(i think the driver allows it to more better...doesnt it?) i cant play any games..i cant even play helo1 ..i really need help...do i just need a better graphics card or is it just that it doesnt have a driver?..and how do i know how much memory my graphics card...btw..is the graphics card and the video card the same?..please help with all of my question

hey, this way of deleting is extremely UNSAFE for window XP as i tested, u cant re-install ANY directx after u deleted your main directx from HKEY_local_machine, don't try it if you don't know what are you doing.

I got an error message when I started Modern Warfare - World At War, stating there was an unrecoverable error with DIrectX. I'd previously played this game ok. I tried starting the game a few times, with the same error. Since that didn't work, I downloaded the latest version of DirectX (just in case). Tried to install it, but eceived message that it wouldn't install, as I already had the latest version. Fullishly, after checking on Google, I followed instructions to delete DirectX from my Registry (stupidly, I didn't make a copy first). No matter what I do, I can't install DirectX. I've even tried loading my XP disc, but get told my current operating system is newer ! Any suggestions ?
