Ok, here's a solution for those of you running Norton Internet Security 2005 who are having troubles signing on to MSN messenger.
.) Go into Norton Internet Security Firewall
.) Go into "Programs"
.) Then find "MSN Messenger" in the list of programs
.) Left click the Internet Access for MSN messenger
.) Choose "Custom"
.) Click the MSN Messenger info in the Description box
.) Choose "Modify"
.) Choose "Permit"
.) Hit OK
.) Make sure the box is toggled next to the MSN messenger
.) Hit OK again
.) Hit OK again
That should fix the strange BLOCK setting that seems to be downloading with the new MSN messenger in Norton Internet Security.
Hope this helps!!! Happy chatting!
