I need help signing in on MSN Messenger 6.2!!! I keep on getting to same error: The was a problem connecting you to MSN Messenger. Click Troubleshoot for help with this problem.

ok i downloaded the "new and improved" version of msn 6.2 and it wont let me sign on! i e-mailed the idiotic msn people and they told me to disable my firewall, i did that!! what can i do? please help me im desperate!!!

Listen, i'm very pissed at you msn people...you should view this page and get back to people, because clearly a lot of people are having trouble getting on msn, i try to sign on and it says that i am either not connected to the internet or msn is having problems, and msn isnt having problems, and i have cable to i am connected 24/7 so thats b.s. MSN should learn to help is troubled users....

i been having problems ittelling me that i have to sign in as a local administrator!!!!Why i tryed everything and it want work!i tryed upgrading but itstell want let me it tells me the same thing every time!!!

dis is really getting on my nerves... everytime i go to sign in to my msn it won't... it starts to sign in and is signin in and then it stps and says dat there may be a problem with th service or my internet connnection and my internet connection is fine and there is nothing wrong with th service it is really annoying i have nothing to do and i cant talk to any of da ppl i have on my contact list . plz help me and plz get bk to me as sonn as poosible...ITS AWFUL!! HELP ME!!!

having problems with msn messenger 6.2 0205.i was forced to download. now my system is unstable, my mouse doesnt work properly, i crash every 30 minutes or so,especially when running any other program. i`m just about ready to give up on msn messenger.

Ok, here's a solution for those of you running Norton Internet Security 2005 who are having troubles signing on to MSN messenger.
1.) Go into Norton Internet Security Firewall
2.) Go into "Programs"
3.) Then find "MSN Messenger" in the list of programs
4.) Left click the Internet Access for MSN messenger
5.) Choose "Custom"
6.) Click the MSN Messenger info in the Description box
7.) Choose "Modify"
8.) Choose "Permit"
9.) Hit OK
10.) Make sure the box is toggled next to the MSN messenger
11.) Hit OK again
12.) Hit OK again
That should fix the strange BLOCK setting that seems to be downloading with the new MSN messenger in Norton Internet Security.
