When I try to get the GUID file moved from my old computer to the new computer OE6 in the new computer refuses saying that either the file contains no messages or is already in use. I am not running OE on the old source computer and no file windows are up. Any ideas

Oh WOW, thanks, simple instructions and I'm writing this as my two thousand plus messages from one computer join the several hundred already on my other.

Hi Leo - I have the same issue in trying to move my e-mail from Outlook Express (not Outlook) to a Windows Vista machine. Seems like I have tried everying, even have a easy transfer cable. It too tells me the files contain no messages. Any suggestions? I am now trying to do an export in Outlook Express, but I don't know where it's putting the exported files......HELP!!!!

how to bring outlook express in my website

I followed your advise on how to move my outlook express folders, it moved them alright, but it erased all the messages on the computer that I took it from and I can read the files on the new machine, they are in DBX (whatever that is). I tried system restore and cannot locate where my email might be. Please help. Maybe I'm out of my league here, but it looked fairly easy. But now I'm in worse shape then before!
