Hello I havce someone claiming they know my ip address and can find out exactly where i live street addrees the lot! is this possible?

Not unless they get your ISP to help, no.

Hey ben, it is very possible that they can figure out your IP Address and where you live and stuff like that. People make programs but dont sell them and stuff they put them up on sites for downloading. whoever looks at the site and downloads the files, they can use it to find out anything about you. trust me.

I have read the article and they are good so I want to keep in touch with you any time that i am on air, how to get ipaddress of a person that I am chatting with I got the site from google.com

Unless you use a "direct connect" functionality that's available in some IM clients, you *don't* know the IP address of the person you're chatting with. All communication is with the IM service's server.

So how can I get an ISP involved to find out who owns one specific IP address? Do I need any legal action to do that?

You can try contecting their customer service contacts and procede from there.

Not without the help of your ISP, which in all practicality means: no.
