Outlook Express comes up & but has the space where the e-mail usually is, is empty. When I click on an address or "tools"/etc, it tells me it is "not responding". This happened about 2 weeks ago. Please Help.
Many Thanks

I would run the system file checker,if you're running Windows XP: http://ask-leo.com/what_is_the_system_file_checker_and_how_do_i_run_it.html - or follow the instructions in the article you just commented on to reinstall or repair Outlook Express.

I use to have outlook express on my computer. I recently had my computer reformated. I don't remember which one I had. I think possibly the 6.0 version not sure. What do I download. It was free.

How can I install Outlook Express on my laptop so that it opens in the same window as my desktop? Can I do that? So I get all the messages on both machines like I get with Yahoo? Thanks.

If I undestand what you're asking ... you can't. Outlook Express is a separate program, and always opens in its own window.
