Try downloading the anti-spyware programme 'StopZilla'.

It deleted BullsEye Network for me. Stress free!

However, do not purchase the anti-spam software 'NoAdware'.

I did and it did **** all! I'm in the process of getting my money back from them.

I read the posting by Mike who said he makes a living removing Spyware. Well so do I but I can't get any other work done because I have to spend 100% of my time removing Spyware. In my opinion, they should have put a provision in the Patriot Act to line up all the Spyware and Virus programmers and chop of their hands with a rusty machete and jam the cut off fingers down their throats. This isn't just business. It is killing our businesses.

If you remove this stuff it will just come back. Here's how to remove them and keep them from coming back.

Warning !!! Don't try this unless you know what you are doing.

Go out and Buy McAfee Internet Security Suite or just buy McAfee VirusScan and McAfee Personal Firewall. You can use Norton if you want but you will get infected very quickly and you will be back in the same boat. If you don't believe it just ask everyone in my office how much work they get done since we implemented Symantec products.

Back up all your data. Format your hard drive and reinstall Windows. As soon as you get connected to the Internet, don't go surfing. Go to microsoft.com and download every update available. The easiest way is to use the Windows Update feature.

Once everything is updated, install your McAfee products and update, update, update. You may have to do it 3 or 4 times and restart 3 or 4 times before it will be completely updated. No need to do a scan because you don't have any viruses at this point.

Next download Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.3 from tucows.com. Don't buy spyhunter or any of the others because Spybot is free and it works just as well. Update Spybot, then Immunize, then you can “Check for Problems” but most likely, your PC doesn't have any Spyware at this point so just exit. Spybot’s Immunize feature should block most Spyware. For the ones that it does not block, you need SpywareBlaster from javacoolsoftware.com. Download SpywareBlaster, update it and then “Enable All Protection”.

As long as McAfee is updating itself daily and you update, Immunize, Enable All Protection and Check for Problems weekly with Spybot and SpywareBlaster, this should just about end your Spyware problems. Then if you do get a stray attack once in a while, you can easily remove it with Spybot. You can also add AdAware to the mix but install AdAware after installing and updating Spybot.

This has worked for me since last Thanksgiving and it’s great to be free from Spyware on my home PC. I only wish I could do this on the PC here at work.

I tried everything here "except formating my drive" what I did which seems to work is. clt alt del to stop bargain from running open all the files in the bullseye network folder with notepad (you have to disable the bargain everytime you open up explorer though) delete all the characters in each file and save them all as read only. Since this that damn dog went away.

We shouldn't have to PAY anyone to solve these annoyances!

PJ,
Each situation is different with spyware. Only if you have experience can you eliminate the threat quickly. If you can't eliminate spyware when you are first exposed, it has more chances to spread across your PC.

Some spyware conflicts with software you have running. You can learn all of this, but most people don't have the time to learn the ins and outs of PC programming, or get sick of learning it before their PC is clean.

If your vents are dirty in your house, do you suck them out with a vacuum cleaner? What a mess! Personally I would call a professional for jobs that I do not have the equipment training (or if I don't want to get dirty.)

So it's GREAT if you want to figure it out by yourself, but nobody should be whining about anything. It's just business! I'm wondering why Norton Antivirus doesn't pick this up. What's wrong with Symantec??

I had this little pain in the **** but I had a look at http://www.computing.net/security/wwwboard/forum/14064.html. Followed the instructions (Which made perfect sense) and this worked fine for me. Check it out.

Just found how to uninstall The Buls Eye program from Sandra, message posted Oct 27, 04.

**try to uninstall BullsEye in Add/Remove programs. click "NO" when asked if it should be uninstalled. that's how it uninstalled mine.....**

It worked, but does mean it's delated from the Registry.

I removed the bullseye crap and it`s associated **** by searching through my computer after it came back several times even after running adaware and spybot. I even stopped the processes running in the background.

The files I located resided in the WINNT\System32 directory
the files are:
exdl.exe, exdl0.exe, exdl1.exe, exul.exe,
exul1.exe.

I seemed to have got rid of this file using a free download called reg mechanic, I used the bullseye uninstall facility first and then used registry mechanic to completely remove it from my registry files.

You need to go into task manager (ctrl alt del) and have the services tab open. Open up your my computer, c:\, program files and you will see the bullseye network folder there. Have it close to your task manager so you can delete it fast! Go into your task manager and stop any bargains.exe services and IMMEDIATELY click over and delete the bullseye network folder. Then scan your pc for these files in your winnt folder: exdl.exe, exdl0.exe, exdl1.exe, exul.exe,exul1.exe and delete them all. Run ad-aware (www.ad-aware.com) and spybot search and destroy (search google..forget the site to download this from) and also run Hijack this (awesome program). This should remove all your spyware. Helps to boot into safe mode after installing these programs (plain safe mode without networking) and run all 3 programs to get rid of everything. Bullseye is the most reoccuring pos I've ever seen. Wish they could hang these people for the time I've spent cleaning them off my pc. :(
