What's 'BullsEye Network'?

This BullsEye Network (or BS Network) stuff, appeared suddenly in my PC about ten days ago. I tried all the usual stuff, including their (JOKE) program removal wizard, but it kept reappearing and their wizard is a fraud !! Yesterday I spent the money and downloaded the STOPzilla anti-ad and sypware package and it immediately shut down this criminal operation....COMPLETELY !!! I am not enough of a computer geek to perform other than basic operations,to remove it myself, so this was the best fix for me !! :) :) Thank you STOPzilla !!!

I'm contacting you cyber people from Australia. For the past 3 months now i have been "harrassed" by this site called Bullseye. Now i was under the impression that the United States Gov had created laws regarding spam! My only question is, why are companies like 'addidas' allowing this bullseye to promote their products? Is this legal in the United States?

It should be against the law to cause a person to reboot their computer because of a pop up ad. I was trying to sell a stock when it happened to me and by the time I got back the ad had cost me over $2,400. To stop this we will probably need to collectively initiate a muti-million dollar class action law suit. restraint of trade? Civil right interference? Let the attorneys decide.

Same stuff happened to me. Thought I had some virus, couldn't end the processes that were doing it, more adware apearing outta nowhere. Well now I'm gonna download the software needed to stop this! Thanks for the info guys!

I wanted to post an update, Ad-aware SE Personal was unable to get rid of the problem, bullseye network is multiplying in my hardrive and its eating at my settings and memory! gosh i don't know what to do, it's only a matter of time before I'll have to run a system recovery AGAIN!

OK, I think we have enough support to finally go after this company that makes BargainBuddy.

Our only hope is to take down the companies that produce these programs -- in court. Microsoft could sue them for every dime they made off of "BullsEye Network"...

This specific spyware problem can be cleaned pretty easily, however. There are worse.

just out of curiosity i googled "bullseye" after i cleaned my machine, and found your forum.

not finding bullseye in the add/remove, i went to my old standby, and this will do it. at least it did for me.

all credit goes to that great free remover BAZOOKA. sorry if recomendations are inappropriate. i have been going to his site for problems for several years.

if it works send him a couple bucks. keep him going.

Spy bot completly removes the bullseye network files and removes it from add/remove program files. How i done it was using another pc and my flash drive pen, i downloaded spy bot on the pc and opened it into the flash drive, once installed on the flash drive i ran the updates directly into the program on the flash drive.
then plugged it into the infected pc and ran it from windows, and of course it cant stop the program running because its in a envirement it cant alter.
If you get virtual memory problems and cant run anything , use task manager alt/ctrl/del,and find the bargain buddy running process and stop it , giving you back your virtual memory , to run the program.

hello, im part of an investigation about computer spyware, adware, hijackers, exc. and trying to dig up as much info about the major companies producing them to pursue legal action. It would help incredibly much if anyone has information on the subject that they would view helpful to me. I, with the help of the local government am trying to rid computers of this cyber-vandalism! Ive seen them before, if you have found a text file on your computer that says it grants the rights of a certain spyware company the rights to downloading their software onto your computer, please let me see a copy. thankyou.
