Why don't running programs show in my taskbar?

Magic. I have struggled with this for months. The comment about the registry worried me - a bit beyond me. But the reference to Kelly Corner Tweaks was instant. I am very impressed - and greateful.

i downloaded the .vbs off kelly's site but it wouldn't run... everytime i try to execute it, nothing happens... is there something wrong with my computer?

i have this perennial problem as well. i've done the new task(run), the kelly's korner fix & neither have worked. what should i try next? thanks--holly lu
