your email name, the "A" part in A@hotmail.com is what identifies your account. So changing that means changing your account.

You cannot *change* it. You can only open a new account with MSN to get a different email address. I believe you need to sign up for MSN to be your ISP in order to have an @msn.com address as well.

Hey leo you've probably had this question loads of times or i'm just being stupid but, how do you get a email address with msn.com at the end? I've been looking everywhere to get one and everytime i go onto a 'sign up' button it keeps coming up with hotmail.com. So if you could tell me where or how i could get a msn.com that would be very appreciated, many thanks in advance.

I believe to get an msn.com address you need to sign up for MSN to be your ISP.
