Is there any other way to change the size of a partition coz.. mines absolutley full
i dont want to have to back stuff up either i just want a bigger c drive
Again i have partition magic 8pro but cannot start the install because i have no room on the e:drive(this is my boot drive) but 25g on the c: drive. i wish to move my partition. can i re-write the program(pm8p) to extract into c: ?
all i do is pop in my boot disk and it goes to a page where i can manage my drives and when i first got my computer and i had 2 partitions and when i deleted one of them on the page i was talking about, the space from the one i deleted was automatically added to the other partition. i have tried this both with a vista boot disk, and an xp boot disk. i hope this helps!
if you have any questions about this you can always e-mail me at [email address removed].

Yes, as zac123 just mentioned: go to download.com and get "EASEUS Partition Manager Home Edition". It's free. I just did it about an hour ago, for the same problem; it was the way my daughter's Acer computer came, with 70GB split evenly between C and D drives. C was full, D was empty. What you have to do is: use the slider to make the D smaller. It puts the chunk of free space after D. then move the D space to the end, so the free space is between C and D. Then increase the C space and it'll take that empty chunk. Sorry if that sounds confusing but when you see the utility you'll understand.. Believe me, it was soooo easy. !! (whew! I'll tell ya, I was so scared!)
zac123, i used that to partition and put windows 7 on my PC. It works wonderfully.
try this site for a free trial of partition magic http://www.soft32.com/download_151.html
