I use Msn as my home page to access my hotmail email...I have for years. I got a new printer, and it ask me for my email address, password. Then it ask me for my server and port number. Then it ask me my user name and password. It keeps telling me it is not valad. Can you please help me?

ps - forgot to say - I have Windows XP & yes it worked immediately I'd set it up.

For the last few months now I have not been able to send outgoing mail on mail app! It always says cannot connect with 'smtp.live.server:me@myemail.com'. I have tried changing ports to 25, 993, 465, 587 as I have read in other threads and ticking the SSL on and off! nothing is working! Im on snow leopard 10.6.8 (macbook air). its driving me insane!! I just want to send an email please help

Try configuring your account to use port 587 for SMTP, as listed above in the article.
