I had probelems with Cidaemon. All the so-called solutions with turning of indexing didn't work. I have removed google Desktop and it seems so far to have been successful.

People say that cidaemon.exe is the indexing service but how can that be? isn't cisvc.exe the file that does the indexing? (I checked the services thing to see if Cidaemon.exe is the indexing service, but i saw the other file instead)

I go to sign on to msn but then i a little pop up comes up & it says "A newer version is avalibe. You must install the newer version in order to continue. Would you like to do this now"? And a click yes & it takes about 20minuets to download & then i go to sign in again & the pop up comes back again!! If any one knows what to do or hade the same problem could you guys please get back to me! Thanx.

hi i need to know how to get rid of an old aol screenname the last time it was used was in dec 2004 when my puter crashed since then aol had me go under hubbys account and now i have a new screenname. i tried to get help from aol but no luck. i did find it under member services so i know its still active but i no longer have use for it please help me get rid of it PLEASE

That depends on the email program you're using. If it's web based, just start using the MSN web interface. If you're using an email program, then you'd just configure the new account settings in the program.
