<p>I had a lot of history archives in my laptop where i used to use yahoo messenger. they were tooo important. but, accidentally i happened to delete it all from my program files... is there any other way i can retrieve it?? will yahoo be saving all the messages?? pls do reply... its a mtter of someone's life...</p>]]>

<div class="leocomment">I *believe* it can only be opened by Yahoo Instant Messenger, logged in to the account that created it, and probably only if the file is in its original location.<br /><br />

      <![CDATA[<p>hi the path Leo has showed for some reasons works on my desktop (which is where im trying to get all my msg from) BUT now when same path i m trying to find it on my laptop, the path after "messenger" its broken. meaning i go to C>program file>yahoo>messenger but after that, i cant find "profile" folder on my laptop. does any one know whats going on? do u think its different for XP and Vista? cuz i have XP on my desktop and Vista on my laptop? plz Leo or anyone if u have any comment let me know thnx.</p>]]>

      <![CDATA[<p>I have downloaded super yahoo messenger rchive decoder and also Ydecode and both of then are working well but they have archived IMs that i cant find in my Yahoo messenger archive. When i long on Yahoo and look under history archive i cant find those Ims but they are displayed in Super messenger and Yahdecoder? Can anyone help me how to find that text file and put it in my Yahoo archive? Can it be that Super messenger decodes the text and Yahoo archive doesnt?<br />
