If you have word set as email editor, all you need to do is click the arrow to the right of the Options button, and then click from/Bcc.

I cannot get the "Option" button to display the little down arrow. Therefore I cannot get to the "From" field. MS Word is NOT the editor.
Any help would be appreciated.

For those out there who like to use Word as email editor in Outlook 2003 AND want a From field displayed:

Untick Word in Tools, Options, Mail Format; open a new (HTML only) email, do View, From Field, close the email; go back to Tools, Options, Mail Format & switch Word back on; the From field will stay.

Also necessary if you want to switch on BCC field with Word as editor....

I agree that Word can be overkill for email but it depends what you want from email. I prefer Word as editor, for the extra formatting possibilities, spell-checking, better control of bullet points, numbers, paragraphs etc.

Well actually, you can use MS-Word for your e-mail and having "FROM:" button.
Just expand the "OPTIONS" button at the tool bar, and there you are...

Well, to start with, don't use Word as the editor. It's WAY overkill for email. Tools, Options, Mail Format - uncheck both "Use Word" checkboxes.

There is no From: menu item under View. By default Outlook uses Word as an email editor.. How do you get the From: button in these circumstances?
