I posted this, but don't think it went through, so: When I open a folder, it is in web page view, with large icons, I change it back to list view, and uncheck web page view...next time I open it, it has changed back again, what am I not doing, or is the puter possessed?
Thanks Leo (my hero!)

This article covers the system32 thing: http://ask-leo.com/why_does_my_system32_folder_open_when_i_log_in.html

As for MS Document Imaging, I've not heard of that specifically, so would point you a the general troubleshooting article about what gets run automatically when you sign in: http://ask-leo.com/whats_all_this_stuff_running_after_i_boot_windows.html

And of course the standard admonition that you run up to date anti=spyware and anti-virus checks.
