How do you remove the file explored.exe ?

I get 'denied access' when working from DOS to del it ?

AVG found it where NAV seemed to miss it.

Try booting in safe mode, or renaming the file, rebooting, and then deleting the file with its new name.

explored.exe is in my computer and it is slowing everything down. I can't even read some websites. I am denied access. It won't let me link onto any sites. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to kill this virus?
