How do I control is the mouse right-click functions in Windows XP?

It'll depend on the manufacturer of your mouse, but typically in Control Panel there will be an item for "mouse". In there should be options to control many aspects of your mouse, include what, if anything, the right button, or any other control on your mouse, will do.
