Hey, i recently had an accident with my computer and deleted everything off it, however my dad did manage to restore everything vut some of the files to my msn went missing and so i cannot either delete msn messenger 7.0 or download a new msn, please help

My friend and I chat on messenger all the time.Or we used to. Now when he signs in if he tries to send a message it knocks him off. If I send the first message to him most of the time we are ok but can you tell us why he is having this problem?
I cant stay in a conversation because every time someone adds me into one i get thrown out and it comes up as find out who is blocking you then it says your experiancing internet problems and no longer apart of this convo and thats weird because my interner is working just fine.
I’m having difficulty in signing into msn messenger 7.5. Firstly in the box where you type in your email address, the computer freezes for about 1 min and then my email address appears after a long time. Secondly When I sign in the message “Signing to MSN messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.” so a tired again but nothing. I could sign into the Web msn messenger perfectly so my microsoft password was fine, and so was my service status which signed in perfectly. When I went into options and cnnection troubleshooter test. I teseted msn messenger and noticed that ‘Wireless’ was not ticked? My firewall setting allow full acess to msn messenger, and i’ve changed my password many times to fix the problem and reinstalled msn messenger but no result. My hotmail uses the same account and signs in perfectly. I even went on changing msn messenger acounts and changed everything but still no luck. I dont know what’s wrong. Please help!
Hi I’m having a problem with installing the new msn messenger 8?? I get a error code called 1603 and I have looked averywhere and tried so many things but it dosn’t work!! Hey, I didn’t have any msn problems before until i accidently pressed the webcam button which lagged my comp for a few seconds and then i closed it after this i couldn’t see dps and others couldn’t see mine, i can’t see custom emotions, i can’t recieve or transfer files(becuz the other person can’t see the files i sent) and i can’t play msn games (becuz when i accpet it doesn’t show to dem as i accepted) i’ve tried reinstalling tools> options > etc etc but nothing works please help if u would oh and how do i take away my asian tab it stays the asian tab even if i reinstall and all my comps in english format though its just the msn tab and the games all in asian , please help ><

We have a new phone service (sprit) and now when someone call and we are on the computer it kicks us off. When we do the*70 the phone service put in the web phone connection which is too many numbers when the phone dials. We are not tech wiz.

Hi, I always used to put pictures on my my space from my laptop.. As of about June 17th I haven’t been able to put any pictures on because it says I have to download something and when ever I try it freezes my laptop. I recently discovered that my ex boyfriend had been reading my emails and logging on to my msn (It kept showing you have logged on from another computer). I have spoken to him and he has now stopped but I keep getting an error and msn throws me out as soon as I log on and I still get told occasionally that I m logging on at another computer!! Are these errors because my ex had been using my msn or is someone still reading my email and logging on to my msn.

I had installed the newest msn beta version but i didn’t like the appearance so uninstalled and reinstalled 7.5. After i did this, i no longer gets sounds when i get messages from people. When i go to the sounds tab and click on msn messenger, the browse button is greyed out so i can’t pick a sound. Do you know how i can get this back.
Hello, I have one big problem with MSN. I use MSN 7.0 for Windows 2000 and I use ZoneAlarm Security Suite 6.5. When ZoneAlarm is turn, I don’t see pictures on MSN of my contacts!!! And they don’t see my picture on MSN…. But, when I turn off ZoneAlarm, picure is visible. IM Security in ZoneAlarm is turn off and everythings is allowed. I am having trouble with the microphones when using MSN Messenger Video Call. I can hear the other person, but they can’t hear me. Am using a DLink Webcam and doesn’t seem to matter if I choose PC Webcam or my Realtek Audio for the microphone. ANy suggestions?

Hello, I was wondering if you could please help me.
My problem seemed to have started when I got MSN Live.
When ever I try to play a game with someone, it tries to connect but cannot and says ‘page cannot be displayed’ like a normal internet page.
I’m not sure if a virus caused it because I ran two virus scans using different programs and they picked up nothing.
I tried uninstalling Live and reinstalling 7.5 but that didn’t change anything.
I’ve since reinstalled Live and am currently using that.
Please help me.

When i signed on my account all my contacts are removed from ym list and the groups too.The groups that are left are cowokers,family,friends and offline.I called my friend he said he sees me online and i don;t even have him on my list no more. can you tell me whats wrong :(

I have a weird problem. I have msn 8 and have different screen names/ accounts. My Primary account is not showing my buddy window after I select it from my buddy list. However , the buddy does get a spot in my toolbar. When I try to click on it. It speeds from the far right and goes back to the tool bar. I click again and it goes back to the right ..far right . First, I don’t see an “article” “that everyone is commenting on” – only problem statements from various people, without a response, so I’m not sure what the article is. Second, I did a search on my problem on google and nothing came up. My problem is this: I cannot see my inbox using the MSN premium butterfly software.I can see my inbox from hotmail, but from there I can’t move emails around to my stored files. I contacted qwest and msn (msn would not help me). Qwest said under their contract they were obligated to help, but could not find the source of the problem. They helped me uninstall and reinstall the software and spend 2 hours on the phone with me trying to figure it out, but could not. Any clues? Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, no clues on your problem. I do hear about it from time to time, and it does appear to be an MSN/Hotmail related problem, but as you can see, support is lacking.

Every time I open MSN from a desktop icon, the window appears briefly then closes to the info trya. When I click on the icon there it does the same thing. I cant get the window to stay open long enough, even to sign in. This happens with all the accounts on my laptop. Strangely enough, I can access MSN through Trillian, Any ideas??? Sorry I should have said, I am using Windows Live Messenger.
I have another user loggin into msn. She wants to IM her friends. However, when she clicks send it will kick her out after 5 seconds. Do you know why it’s doing this?

What does it mean when it say MSN has had an internal problem and needs to shut down? I get this at least 8 times a day.
I can use MSN and all related MSN programs in safe mode but I can’t use it in normal mode. I can’t log on to my hotmail account or use MSN messenger in Normal mode. Why?

but my general account seems to have developped a problem. When I log in on this account everything seems to be ok, but there is something wrong. it so happens that everyone who TRIES to send me a message, gets the “Delivery failure notification”. this means that no one is able to send me messages!! HOWEVER, when I have opened a conversation with someone, he/she is able to talk to me, this is very weird and above all VERY annoying. it is the first problem on msn I havent been able to solve myself.. I hope anyone can help me ASAP with this problem, Oh yeah btw I use msn 7.5 but I dont think the version has anything to do with it because my other accounts work just fine.. thanks in advance

Hi I have the samprobem as Cyrys. No problem logging in, I can start a conversations get maybe a couple of answers, but no one can start a conversation to me or answer me if we leave the window open for a few minutes.I’ve reinstalled latest software, tried with trillian but Im lost know. Every time I start MSN LIVE it runs only for a few seconds,and then a window opens up and states it has encountered a problem and need to close.

I was about to sign in on MSN and found that it didnt sign in so i tried the troubleshoot programm but it says that the “key ports” is not found which seemed strange. My sister has it and hers signs on straight away.

The problem I’ve been having for a few months now, is whenever I’m signed into MSN for about 20 minutes, I still appear to be online, as do my contacts, but it stops delivering my messages and my status won’t change – it’s as if my computer thinks I’m still signed in but the internet doesn’t. Then when I sign out, MSN informs me the messages I’ve sent have not been delivered. Look forward to your reply =]

Ummm I have a small problem, my msn doesn’t show me who logged in, but I hear the sound. And everytime I want to know who entered, I go to the contacts and remember who entered lately by trying to remember the list before that person enters, can you please find a solution?

But when I try to log in on my brothers messenger account, there is no probleme at all. SO I think it has something to do with the code?

i try to log on to mds but the icon keeps spinning around so i cant log on

I’ve got this problem… I can sign in on msn, and I will remain signed in.. but after a while it doesn’t ‘refresh’ anymore, so if someone went offline, I still see the person’s status as online. Also, after a couple of minuts my reactions don’t arrive anymore, neither do the one’s of the other person. So after about 20 minuts I can keep talking, but none of it will arrive.. You (or your friend sending the link) probably logged to a site recently and gave your msn password. Now the site uses your password to log in msn and send a link to all your contacts. New meaning to the expression “viral marketing”…

i’m having a problem. My computer identity keeps tellimg me i have 3 email messages, but I don’t. It doesn’t matter what I do, I can’t get it to stop telling me that. It’s telling me that my hotmail address has 3, every time I start my computer and sign in. How do I fix that?

hey leo. I have a problem with Windows Live. The Problem is that I am online and I’m surfing the web and im logged onto MSN. however when i send messages it says that they werent recived, nontheless these messages go through after countless copy and pastes. Is this an Internal problem with Microsoft because everything else seems perfect. Thanks a lot

i have following problem since 2006… generally i use the latest version of MSN messenger and Microsoft Windows…(now msn 8.5 and windows vista)
2 years ago people (generally from turkey) starts to add me their msns and it starts to alert me on my every sign-in… i block whoever i dont want to chat but after a few days i noticed that i am blocking and deleting the same people everytime i sign-in… after a month the number of people reached 200… and it is obviously very very annoying to do the same thing on the same names everytime i sign in…
i prefer to change my e mail adress… use it about 1 year… and it is stoled… then again i turn back my old msn (vural@hotmail.com)…
msn is updated the program and now they keep the contact list on internet i think…
so i create a new group on my account and keep the unrequired people as blocked in it… but now it didnt work properly on different computers… and again i need to block that same people when i sign in from different computers… btw the number reaches 700 now… also some computers which lower configuration is crash when i sign-in related this issue…
how we can solve this problem? have u got any idea?
also one year ago suddenly my shearing folders option get dissapeard… so i cant use it too… i read the help files about this thing and it says hard-disks must be ntsc format… which mine it like that… so i cant solve this too…

hi everytime i am on msn after say about 20 mins to half an hour it turns off itself. the computer stays on but sign off msn. im not sure wt the problems is here?
also most times my computer will not allow me to open my desktop icons i try clicking but it dosn’t work. also i can go in start menu that all but cannot click owt in there either. please help me i have tried many things but no success.
Hey. About half a year ago, I had to reinstall MSN because it was deleted. After I installed it again everything was fine. But now, whenever someone signs in, I get a new email, or sometimes when someone talks to you, a window pops up that says “Error report” it says that windows has encountered a problem, and needs to shut MSN down. It has the options ‘send error report’ or ‘don’t send.’ If you click don’t send, it just signs out of MSN, but if you click send error report, another screen that says ‘sending error report’ comes up for about 1 second, and then MSN signs out. Please help, it is very annoying having to sign in and out of MSN all the time. It also does it even if you’re not talking to anyone.

I only just got a new laptop yesterday and I put the new version of msn on it this morning. It was working fine and then I downloaded Lime Wire and Java, then turned my computer off. Then when I came back and turned it on and everytime that i typed my e-mail address in and my password it wouldnt let me remember myself and kept coming up with the error code 80070005. Then I restored my computer again and took Lime Wire and Java off and deleted Msn Messenger and downloaded it again but it is still doing the same thing as before. If you can help me that would be great, Thanks

Sometimes on msn I will be having multiple conversations. On one all my messages are sent and received but on the other it is not going through.
It also lags and stops responding frequently.

The last few days msn messenger has been playing up. There are 3 accounts on our computer and when other people log into msn messenger it works fine most the time, but sometimes and ALL THE TIME when i log in, and go to talk to someone or go to view a message i received while offline it comes up with this window:

and when i go into s something about regarding the condition of windows live messenger when the problem occured: the operating system version and computer hardware in use: your digital product ID which would be used to identify your license and the internet protocol address of your computer. I have no idea what all that means but msn seems t to have run fine for my partner this morning. please HELP!!!! :(

When i go into msn and i start a conversation with one of my contacts, it goes funny after a few minutes. What i mean is, i do not get my contacts messages when they are chatting to me, or if i do get their conversation its usally 10 mins later. hi I have a big problem with my msn i downloaded msn beta the newest 1 and i realize i could not add new people so i deleted beta off my computer 2 get a lower version and now although deleted the computer tells me that beta it is still there and i cannot grade down or overwrite how do i get my windows live messenger back?

MSN won’t read my h, t or c keys anymore. It does read them when I capitalise them though. Any ideas?

When i sign in to MSN, about 10 minutes later, the internet gets cut off.
i then exit the MSN, wait for about 5 minutes, and then the internet connection is back.

Anytime i go to send someone a message my msn messenger closes. It only did it every once in awhile when i had the old msn messenger but when i updated it, it wont let me send a message at all.
