Newsletter Administration

Thanks for being a newsletter subscriber! (If not, you might consider subscribing!)

Rather than duplicate this information in every newsletter, I’ve placed it here, for your reference – when you need it, and only when you need it.

Your Subscription

Want to stop the newsletter? Just follow the instructions to unsubscribe at the bottom of every newsletter issue. I also have more detailed instructions in this article: How do I unsubscribe from your newsletter?

You can also change your email address: How do I change the email address on which I get your newsletter?

Remember to remove your unsubscribe link should you forward the newsletter on to others, otherwise they can unsubscribe you.

If you’re missing newsletters, check out this article: Why am I sometimes not getting your newsletter? (Be sure to check out the other articles on the “Administration” menu above.)

Formatting

The newsletter does not specify a font size. As of 2017 it also does not specify a specific font.

Both of these are under the control of your email program or web-based email service. Typically they all have ways to increase or decrease the size of the text as you view email messages.

If you’re having problems with the formatting of the newsletter in email the most recent newsletter is always available here: https://newsletter.askleo.com/current-newsletter/. Back issues are available in the newsletter archives.

Questions?

Do you have a question? Start with the search function on any page of Ask Leo!. Still can’t find what you’re looking for? Just reply to any newsletter with your question (please include lots of details to help me answer). I’ll be honest: I’ll try to respond, but I get a lot of questions every day – I just can’t answer every one. Rest assured, though, that even if you don’t hear from me directly, every email gets read.

Share The Newsletter!

Do you know someone who could use the information in a newsletter? Go ahead and forward it!

You’re quite welcome to forward the newsletter in its entirety; besides sharing the content it’s a great way to help Ask Leo! grow.

Do, however, remember to delete your unsubscribe link at the bottom before pressing “Send” so your friends don’t unsubscribe you by accident.

Subscriber-only Perks

Available only in the emailed copies of the newsletter and not in the online archives:

  • Prioritized response by replying to a newsletter, or using a special subscribers-only “Ask A Question” page (linked only in the emailed newsletter).
  • 20% off anything in  The Ask Leo! Store (using a code provided only in the emailed newsletter).

Did someone forward a newsletter to you? Get The Ask Leo! Newsletter direct in your own inbox every week.

The Ask Leo! Newsletter is a weekly publication of Ask Leo! and Leo A. Notenboom.

You may forward individual articles from this newsletter only if you include all and only the text of that article as found in this newsletter, including any links therein. You may not copy full articles from the Ask Leo! website – more on that in my section on copyright.

I’d sure appreciate it if regular readers got a subscription of their own. You can sign up at https://newsletter.askleo.com.

Leo Who?

I'm Leo Notenboom and I've been playing with computers since I took a required programming class in 1976.
