From their website: "The Spyware Guide was created to provide an all inclusive and updated resource on spyware applications, what they do and how they're used. These resources include: which software applications can detect and defeat spyware, an extensive database of all known spy software and adware applications and contact information as well as other privacy related products. As the spy versus spy battle rages on we have decided to document this fascinating battlefield."

And document they do. Spyware Guide includes detailed descriptions along with removal instructions for over 1700 different forms of spyware and related malware. It's a good go-to site when faced with spyware that you're not sure how to remove, or if you simply want to understand what a particular piece of spyware does.

Spyware Guide includes recommendations for several different Anti-Spyware products, but it's here that I find they come up short ... they don't list the free products such as Spybot or Microsoft's Anti-Spyware program. And it's Microsoft's program that is my recommended anti-spyware software.

You'll also find various security related articles that make for very interesting, and educational reading on keeping yourself safe and secure.
