I sometimes have a problem accessing anything Internet. I have recently discovered that one of the processes in Task Manager, WCESCOMM.EXE, when deleted frees up my internet. I works everytime and immediately it's deleted. The actual amount of CPU usage at the time of deletion is 0%.
Any help on this would be great.
Posted by: Richard Stagg at February 10, 2006 12:21 AMI just started having problems with wcescomm.exe consuming 100% of CPU doing absolutely nothing. This started to happen after I turned on "avant go" - i'm going to turn it off - maybe that's the cause.
Posted by: Mitch at March 26, 2006 9:17 PMThe software is part of your Active Sync software used to communicate with your pocket pc. Whether or not you need to run this program on startup must be decided by you. If you feel that you want this program starting automatically so that you have it available as needed, then do not disable it. If you disable it at startup, you can still manually launch the program. :)
