What is an "SNM" file?

According to FILExt.com, it's a "Netscape Mail E-mail Message File".

I have 2 pc's , one is attached to a HP printer the other is not.How do I get the one not attached to print a file for me?

This article explains how you can do it. It was written for Windows XP so you may have to do things a little differently if you are using Windows 7 or Vista but the principle is the same.
