Where can I search for someone`s Yahoo Instant Messenger username?
•
In Yahoo Instant Messenger: Tools -> Manage Friends List
-> Search for Friend.

Posted by: sumit at March 21, 2012 6:30 AMGood day Sir,
Posted by: Franklin Egbuche at April 25, 2012 11:08 PMI lost contact with a friend way back in 2008.
We chatted mostly on yahoo messenger and occassionally on phone.
Different continents.
After i got admission that year, we reduced our daily chats, but suddenly the person wasn't coming online and the number doesn't connect any longer.
Since 2010 till date, i have jumped from one site to another asking for possible ways to locate the person, all end up giving me unworkable suggestions.
I have the YM id but that doesn't seem to be the email id.
I can't spell the surname correctly so doing a search on FB is out of the equation with over 800 million possibilities.
Please is there a workable suggestion?
I don't even mind writting to yahoo for help (if at all they will care).
Am earnestly waiting.
Thanks.
