Summary: The Linksys wusb11 should work in Windows 98. If it does not, it's possible that you need updated drivers.

Why does the Linksys wusb11 not work in Windows 98?

It should. I show Windows 98SE as the minimum required platform, so it should. Make sure your software is as up-to-date as possible. You may also want to check out this discussion thread out on Broadband Reports.

Leo:Which is better, the wusb11 or the wmp11. I have an old computer that still uses 98SE and 2 other computers that are XP and have a router and wireless adapter attached (Linksys) The router has the speed booster. Will the wusb11 or the wmp11 work all right?
