What is winnet.exe?

Based on only the name I was unable to found out anything. You may be able to determine more by following some of the steps in What's This DLL?, most of which actually applies to .EXE files as well.

My firewall blockt this exe but i dont know where i got it. it found 2 registry keys. run and run services. after deleting them and the winnet.exe (which is a system file so you don't see it if ou haven enabled to see system files in the winexplorer) i have no more problems.

everytime i shut down windowns xpsp2 i get winnet.exe error can you help me repair this

i keep getting winnet.dll, don't know what it is exactly.. but it is knocking me off certain places when i am on the internet.. how do i get rid of this
