I get this question so often about Hotmail that it's clear that the process is not obvious enough or documented well enough by MSN.
Allow me....

First, you must be able to log in. If you cannot login to Hotmail, you cannot change your password. Period. See the links to related articles for some help if you cannot login.
Once you've logged in to MSN Hotmail, in the upper right hand corner is a link labeled Options:

Click that.
On the resulting page, you'll find a link labeled Password:

Hotmail may then ask you to login again, to prove that you are the account holder by knowing the old password:

Once you've entered the correct password, you'll then be taken to the Change Your Password page:

Enter your old password where indicated, and then enter a new password in the two places that's requested. Press continue, and you'll be taken to the login page again where you can use your new password to login.
That's all there is to it!

someone has signed in as me on my account and i want to change my password i know how to get there but i cant read the writing how do i enlarge it so i can read it and how can i change my hotmail without losing all my contacts and emails??
